Brown Brothers Prosecco NV

This is more a recommendation than a review. In short, a wine for enjoyment, rather than reflection.
For those who don’t know, Prosecco is an Italian grape grown for sparkling wine. It usually undergoes secondary fermentation in tank, rather than in bottle, (known as the Charmat method).
Tinned pears, green apple, peach and lemon. It’s fleshy and fruity, with a rounded sweetness. A solid level of fizz gives a foamy mouthfeel. I’m really not sure why this style of wine isn’t a commercial hit. It would appeal to both drinkers of dry and sweet sparkling wines, without feeling like it’s a compromise. A great inexpensive party-starter.

I agree, this could very easily become a huge success commercially, perhaps people don’t understand what prosseco means.
I agree also with your tasting notes, this is a wine that will please all palates. It has lovely fruit character with a touch of residual upfront but cleans up nicely on the back-end. Perfect aperitif wine.

Foamy mouthfeel the key…
I haven’t had the Brown Brothers yet but I ordered a bottle of Dal Zotto’s NV Pucino Prosecco, which is also made Charmat, at whatcould be Adelaide’s most progressive bar a week or so ago. The bartender had no idea what I asked for (it was on their wines by the glass list) and pulled me over and asked me to point it out amongst their vast selection of rare spirits!
Rest assured it was delicious and I now have a bottle of the L’Immigrante awaiting review on my tasting rack.

I had the Dal Zotto the other week and loved it. Better than the BB, but represented in the price.
